Things to Do
Surfing
Watch the best surfers on the island at Honolua Bay and have brunch at the
Gazebo. Snorkel in front of the bay before the bridge. 40 minutes past Honolua,
continue around the island and stop for banana bread at a bright green stand.
Beginner surfers can learn how to surf at Puamana Beach Park where the waves
are small and fun for learning. Launiapoko is another favorite beginner’s
surf spot.

by Da Beach House Maui.
**Rent surfboards at Da Beach House Maui in the Harbor Shops at Ma’alaea.
Walking/Running Paths and Parks
Walk or run along the ocean on paved paths in Kaanapali and Wailea. Visit
the Iao Valley State Park and see the Iao Needle (about 3 miles west of Kahului
off of Hwy 32).
Shopping
Visit Da Beach House Maui for surf and beach apparel, unique island gifts
and home décor. Kihei Kalama Village is an open market with over 60
different stores. Boutique shopping can be found in Paia and Makawao.
Windsurfing
Check out the pro windsurfing at Ho’okipa Beach and stop and experience
the best fish tacos at Milagro’s in Paia. Beginning windsurfers can
surf at the Kanaha Beach Park in Kahului
Snorkeling
Check out the best snorkeling in Olowalu at Mile Marker 14, Ulua and Mokapu
Beach in Wailea, and charter tours out of Ma’alaea Harbor to Molokini
Island and Turtle Town.
Kula Lavender Farm
Go upcountry and have a lavender scone and tea and view the beautiful lavender
farm.

Ma’alaea Grill: favorite place to eat because of the food and the
beautiful ocean view (this is the reason why we opened our second store
in Ma’alaea)

The Waterfront: our absolute most favorite place for dinner!!!! Fresh seafood
daily and prepared to perfection, Caesar salad prepared at your table, yummy
soups, fish prepared 5 different ways, love the shrimp scampi, amazing desserts,
most reasonable 5 star restaurant, call 244-9028 for reservations $$$$
